2016 Ayacucho Mission Gala - April 30

We take great pride in the support of our many friends in the community.

The encouragement and resources you provide are multiplied many times over to offer much needed services to our friends in Ayacucho, Peru--and to help cultivate a culture of service in our volunteers ranging from young students to seasoned professionals.

At this time of year, we seek to celebrate this support, and ask you once again to help make the Ayacucho Mission possible.

Please join us for our Annual Gala to be held:

Saturday April 30, 2016
6:00pm to Midnight
Knott's Berry Farm Hotel
7675 Crescent Avenue, Buena Park, CA 90620

We'd love to see you all there.  And if you can't attend, please consider a donation to Sponsor a Student at the event.  Just let us know how many tickets you would like to sponsor to allow some of our hard working student volunteers to attend the event.  And if course if you can be there, we look forward to seeing you!

For more details, please visit www.ayacuchomission.org/gala

We hope to see you there!

Welcome home, Ayacucho Mission 2015!

A note from Medical Director, Cesar Aranguri.

Dear Friends and volunteers of the 2015 Ayacucho Mission,

By now most, if not all are back home in USA including those traveling through Peru after the
second week.  As we all settle into our daily duties and Ayacucho also settles and becomes embedded in our memory I’d like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all of you.

It has been my privilege to work with each one of you and experience firsthand your unbeatable desire to help others. Your hard work and willingness to perform your best regardless of circumstances including unexpected conditions that could make others quit but not you. You were exemplary and your efforts made possible the Mission to evaluate and treat over 1,000 patients.

It is amazing just to think that the Mission was able to provide care for such number of people in need under very special conditions and in such a short time.  You traveled for many hours and always arrived willing to work. It is with great pride and pleasure I can report that consultations in Tambo and the Regional Hospital along with dozens of life changing surgical interventions were performed without a single adverse outcome. This speaks very highly of your knowledge, great experience, dedication and discipline to perform at your highest regardless of circumstances or limitations.

The Mission also accomplished visits to the Orphanage, Senior Citizen Shelter, and Wasi Esperanza
Rehabilitation Home.  It was awesome to see the kids receive the visit and engage with volunteers for a day of fun, sharing friendship and love to the kids as well as the elderly. The training sessions “Helping Babies Breathe” were an outstanding success as well as the Presentation at the Engineering College of Ayacucho.

My dear volunteers you are my “Dream Team” and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your
performance and support to the Mission.

I also like to take this opportunity to invite you all to our Post-Mission Reunion Party on September 6, 2015. All are invited and feel free to bring your family and I wish to see you all or as many as possible. It will take place in Anaheim, (my home) sunny southern California in the middle of Labor Day long weekend. Please mark your calendar and all you have to do is confirm your attendance and you are in.

My dear friends, Once again… Thank you, Thank you!!!

Un abrazo,

Cesar

2015 Gala - Thank you for your support!

Dear Friends and Supporters of the Ayacucho Mission,

On behalf of the Ayacucho Mission, member of the Peruvian American Medical Society I’d like to express our deepest gratitude for your support to our May 3rd, 2015 Tenth Annual Fundraiser event.
Thanks to you attendance we had once again, a sold out event and your company made it a great success.

With your generous support the 2015 Ayacucho Mission has secured the necessary funds to continue the life changing surgical interventions programs as Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, Orthopedic and Rehabilitation, Medicine, Pediatrics, Gynecology  and many others that will continue to provide the excellence in care achieved by the Mission.

It was amazing to say the least, the enthusiasm demonstrated by all of you when it came to provide support for each of our programs.  It was great to meet you all and have a fabulous time conversing and sharing personal stories. What a great afternoon we had surrounded by wonderful friends and outstanding performance by Fredy Chiara y Danzas del Peru as well as Chikicha and Fantasia Tropical.

To all of you thank you very much and stay tuned for the soon to be released Red Carpet pictures.

Un abrazo,

Cesar
