The team returns home

After seeing over 1,500 patients and performing over 100 surgical procedures, the 2012 Ayacucho Mission team has returned home.

Ayacucho Mission 2012 is underway!

All the hard work and generous donations from the past year are paying big dividends this week as the 2012 Ayacucho Mission has launched!

Please send your best wishes to the volunteers, and accept our gratitude for all the efforts that make this possible.

We'll be working in Ayacucho and the surrounding towns from July 7-21!

LA Marathon Runners supporting Ayacucho Mission

On March 18th, a group of volunteers led by Junior High student Joshua Nava and Ayacucho Mission Medical Director Cesar Aranguri are running the LA Marathon to raise funds for the Ayacucho Mission.  Our entire community of volunteers and supporters are honored by their effort, and we hope that many of you will support their fundraising efforts, and to continue.

Applications for 2012 Mission available online!

We are now taking applications for volunteers for the 2012 Ayacucho Mission!

We welcome volunteers from all professions and levels of experience, both from the medical field (physicians, nurses, pharmacists and mental health professionals and other) and from other professions.  We can find a job for you regardless of your background, and whether you are a student, an experienced professional, or anywhere in between.

Applications must be submitted by the deadline of March 31, 2012 for General Volunteers & Med Students
or May 30, 2012 for Physicians, Pharmacists & Nurses to be considered for a position with this year's mission.

Please consider supporting our efforts serving the needy in the Peruvian Andes by applying to volunteer, giving a tax-deductible donation, or spreading the word about us to someone who may be interested!
