This year's mission has been divided into two teams. The first team, led by surgeon Dr. Pablo Uceda of the North Texas Chapter of the Peruvian American Medical society, returned after a successful campaign in June. In spite of an ongoing strike, Dr. Uceda's team completed 48 surgical procedures and identified cases for follow-up by the second team.The second team will build upon this effort in July
